Wide Area Warning - Custom Packages

Airchime has been designing and building acoustic signal systems for decades using leading edge technologies for many years of reliable, trouble free operation. Sound signal systems are ideal for any wide area warning applications that require powerful audible signals such as early warning, emergency evacuation, disaster warning, flood warning and tornado warning.
Hydro dams, nuclear facilities, petroleum refineries, chemical processing plants, open pit mines and large industrial complexes.
Audible range from 1 to 8 km radius per station.
Turn-key custom packages:
- Site assessment to determine ambient noise, geographical contouring, ground conditions, obstructions, signal travel path and coverage.
- Design and build custom package to fit customer specifications and requirements with redundancy built in to safeguard against false alarms.
- Quality assurance including inspections, quality control and in house testing for performance and compliance.
- Site supervision of installation.
- Trouble shooting and commissioning.
- Transfer and technical support.
Self contained stand-alone air horn warning system complete with:
- Air supply from high pressure cylinders up to 4500 psi (300 bars).
- Actuator fitted on each cylinder to remotely open and close the cylinder valve. This feature minimizes system
air leakage.
- Combination manual and solenoid valve to control the signal pattern and duration. This valve is equipped with
manual override lever to allow the end user to activate the horns manually using a lanyard in case of a total power
failure.
- Independent power supply, 12VDC long life battery, solar panel with reversed polarity protection and voltage
regulator.
- Lightning protection package with conductor, lightning rod.
- Wireless communication link by HF radio or low orbital satellite.
- Galvanized steel support pole to elevate the horns for better coverage and minimize the risk of people being
exposed to loud sound.
- Galvanized steel enclosure to house the horns and control valve.
- Galvanized steel enclosure to house the air supply, power supply and radio communication equipment.
