Kahlenberg Industrial Whistles are designed to operate on 50 to 200 P.S.I. air or steam pressure. The diameter of piping from air receiver or steam source to the whistle must be large enough to maintain at least 50 P.S.I. at the base of the whistle. Whistles are of cast bronze construction with one piece polished brass bell. Integrated manual air or steam valves are available as well as air strainers and additional accessories. Chrome plating is also available.
These whistles are also used as tug whistles and secondary signaling devices for yachts.
